New Delhi: Supreme Court Of India asked the government to give the complete information about Rafale controversy. Supreme Court told the government to give the exact price of Rafale jet in a closed envelope. Although, government advocate told it is not possible. At the same time, the court has asked the government to make it public, what was the process of choosing offset partner?

India's biggest court asked the Rafale jet price in a closed envelope, then government advocate, Attorney general told, "to do these things it is not possible". Then the Supreme Court told if it is not possible then to fill a written note on this. The court also asked the procedure of selection a offset partner.

On this matter, the government has to be declared all the information about the Rafale Jet deal and also asked to declare the selection procedure of Rafale Jet offset partner public and also given to the petitioners. The Supreme Court said to the government, "Make the information available to the petitioners, whatever information we are given to make publicly available.

What is the Rafale deal controversy?

The UPA government had made a deal of one Rafale Jet deal in ₹526 crore. Now it's being told that the government will have to pay ₹1,600 crore for one Rafale jet. There is all about 50 percent offset price increase in Rafale deal. That is, fifty percent of the deal, the company making the Rafale jet, Dassault will assemble the defense and aerospace industry in India itself.

On this Dassault company ties up with Reliance Defense Industry. Anil Ambani company, Reliance Defense Industry has been made. In India the Dassault company doing a joint venture with Anil Ambani Company Reliance Defense industry. Together, these two are going to create spare parts of civilian aircraft in India.

Nirmala Sitharaman defense minister of India said that "36 Rafale IGA (Inter Government Agreement) has a 50 percent offsetting amount, including investment in the transfer of technology for the manufacturing of Rafale Jet and for its maintenance"
