There is a lockdown in Delhi. Despite this, many DTC buses
are plying on the road. However, these buses are for the necessary facilities
or staff with duty pass. But there have been many such cases in the last few
days when daily laborers or local residents are also traveling in it. The
Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has issued a new order banning the travel of
such people, in which it has been asked to ensure that all the traveling people
have duty pass. Not only this, but the identity cards of all the passengers have
also been asked to check.
The DTC has ordered all the regional managers and the depot
manager to say that they must put a sticker on 'For the staff of essential services
only and On Govt duty' on all the buses serving them. Special instructions have
been given to the driver and conductor that if the order is not followed
properly, action will be taken on them as well.
